At the end of October 2026, key social agencies in Moldova took a significant step toward technological modernization.

Moldova's National Social Insurance Fund and the National Council of Moldova for Determining Disability and Work Capacity received 104 desktop computers, 15 portable devices, and 40 multifunctional printing systems. The upgrade to the material and technical base is intended to fundamentally change the state's approach to interacting with citizens in difficult life situations, including people with disabilities and internally displaced persons.

For ordinary visitors to social services, this modernization should result in specific, tangible improvements. Outdated equipment and slow information systems often caused delays in document processing, benefit allocation, and the organization of medical-social assessments. Implementing new capacity will allow staff to automate routine tasks, minimize the risk of losing paper certificates, and accelerate decision-making.

As noted by Anastasia Ocheretny, State Secretary at the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, freeing up time from mechanical work will give specialists the opportunity to devote more attention to direct interaction with people and solving their individual problems.

International partners who initiated this supply view it not merely as a charitable gesture, but as a strategic investment in social stability. Representatives from UNICEF and the US diplomatic corps emphasized that reliable technical infrastructure is the foundation for creating clear and flexible operational algorithms. When state structures can promptly and seamlessly calculate due benefits, this directly contributes to growing citizen trust in institutions, which is particularly important for the most vulnerable segments of the population.

Who is affected

Переход на электронные услуги требует обеспечения их доступности для людей с различными нарушениями, чтобы исключить их цифровое исключение из системы соцподдержки.
